importing to ci_item. verison 5.1 PU4. Standard, sales and PO unit of measure show correctly in the import log but when I look at item maintenance all 18,000 show all UOM as EACH. Any idea what is causing this?

Workaround was to create another vI job with only item, and the 3 UOM fields. Still would like to know why this is happening but not urgent.

Importing the product line after UOM's would reset them to defaults established for that product line.

Thanks @MarkKotyla That is it. The business object changes the UOM if product line is after UOM in the VI import.
