Importing serial numbers into Physical County Entry - if the serial number did not already exist in the system, it imports in with a bogus frozen QOH. For example, if the client had 3 serial numbers counted that did not exist, importing in via VI creates 3 new records and the frozen QOH says 3 for each one, instead of 1. The QOH for serial numbers that DID exist is correct. Am assuming a bug in the perform logic Sage does?

Stab in the dark. Did you check the box on the first screen to clear after each record?

My first screen doesn't have that... the only time I've seen that is when I'm creating a temp field...?

I had the same issue. Client had to remove all the new serial numbers in the import file prior to importing.

Thanks, @JimWoodhead - just needed the confirmation. I have a report to list new serial numbers but that means we have to import into a test company first. Ack.
