  • 1.  Importing into Paperless Log files

    Posted 05-17-2021 15:12
Has anyone come up with a utility or methodology to import new records into the Paperless Log files?

We have a client moving from Premium to Standard and the DSD utility only moves company data files, not system level files.

The table is not listed in VI; the data dictionary doesn't say to exclude it

Any insight would be most helpful!

    Thanks, Robert

Also, if any one has insights into how to handle UserKey mismatches for such a Premium to Providex migration (using the DSD utility), that would be appreciated.

I know there is a script out there that can take two paperless office files and combine them together and it also allows you to bulk edit, change things as part of the combining. I actually that is in prior posts in 90 minds. Using the script actually bypasses the need to do importing at all if you are dealing with things like server moves or in the case where I am going to need it is combining two different sets of paperless office files together.

If you know Jim Woodhead at DSD, I believe he can point you in the right direction if that is something you want to do.

Thanks for the input @Tara Schinkel.  If I have the full picture, there are 2 90 Minds utilities.  One will search/replace things like a server change (love this one!) and the other will merge log files.  Unfortunately, this merge utility appears to need you to copy the m4T file and since it's starting with SQL, that's not possible
