Customer is using an acct structure of 4-4-4 and they are on Premium. We have a VI job to import in journal entries on a daily basis but only allows for 9 characters. What's the secret with Premium???

Checkbox on tab 1 of the VI job (not specific to Premium).

I always bring in the account number field in the source file as a temp field (string). Then I make the account key a calculated field and put the temp field as the calculation.

I tried that but with an extended account number, it didn't work. Good thought though!

I  use a  calculation  method o f imp$[x] and replace the x with the column of field from the import file.

Thumbs up for @Billy Balser suggestion.  Import to temp and calc the actual field has been working for me since v4.3.  Still runs like clockwork in v2020
