  • 1.  Import into Sage 100 2019 payroll

I am trying to create a payroll import into Sage 100 2019 and when I try to pull the employee pay rate 1 field the value comes in as 0.  Prior to 2018, I would do a file assign or calculated for the rate, but this does not seem to work with the new payroll.  Any ideas?

If you just leave the pay rate field off the import, it will pull in automatically, at whatever Pay Rate level is designated for the Earnings Code.

Don't have to calculate extension, either.  Basically just need the earnings codes and hours and it will do most of the rest.  Kind of like how SO imports are now.  No more calculating!

If you are doing auto deductions, there are a couple perform logic commands you have to tweak..
