Sage 100

I'm working on an upgrade from Sage 100 Standard 2015 to Sage 100 Advanced 2018.2. Note: Moving farther than PU 2 is not possible because Job Ops stopped support at PU 2 and has no plans to issue another release until 2019. The customer also added (new user) InstaDocs for all modules including Inventory. The only other mod is Starship They are testing the upgrade and find when they are in inventory and click on tab 8 for InstaDocs and then save - even if they make no changes they get a prompt ""do you want to save changes?"" When they answer yes then any decimals In the item description are removed. I'm hoping maybe someone has seen something similar. We rebuilt panels until our fingers bled. So far as I'm aware those are the only mods. No scripting. I'm presuming that neither enhancement may claim this bug until I start the popular ""prove it's our mod"" bonus round. Ideas?

I was able to reproduce this on 2018.2 and also 2018.4. I think it's a bug in InstaDocs. - Enter in an Item Description (won't happen on the extended) - Add in a decimal or two - Save - Have InstaDocs for IM installed - Go to that record with the decimal in the Item Description - Click tab 8 for InstaDocs. Notice how the decimal disappears. If you click save at this point it save the description without the decimal - The above can also happen if while on tab 8 with an item that has a decimal in the description and you click the next record button - Does not appear to impact Extended Descriptions - Does not appear to occur if you are **not** on the InstaDocs (tab #8) within Inventory Maintenance

Not so fast. Customer also has Job Ops and this fix works on an un-modified 2018.4 system but not so much on their Job Ops. No clue what may or may not be at play. @MarkChinsky this is the one they keep calling you on. We may kick it over to Job Ops but my expectation is low they will add much. Some of these enhancements are so frustrating when they get into the middle of a tiny upgrade and you spend days playing ""prove it's our mod"".

Moved the IM_158Item_UI and IM404_Item_UI out of the IM folder temporarily. Started Sage. Moved the two files back. Problem seems to have resolved (for now). I'm not declaring this a win yet.
