I'm updating my upgrade procedure and comparing it to Sage upgrade checklists. I still update UDF tables, but I can't find that step on Sage upgrade checklists going back quite a few versions. Does anyone still do this, or do I get to make my life easier and eliminate this step?

That would be a huge step to not have to take. I still do as does my coworker. It would be nice if Sage could make a 1-step update of UDF's.

I still do it. Seems to be an issue when I don't. Major PITA doing it one table at a time though.

    I agree.

I don't and haven't for a while. I also rarely rebuild every file (keys or sorts). Biggest issue tends to be custom office panels when Sage adds another field onto the screen and it overlaps. Crystal forms still a PITA and I use the automated utility though it still seems to prompt people about needing an upgraded form.

I think that the UDFs were only an issue for non-framework modules, like WO or Payroll.

I have been updating them, too. Does anyone know what happens if you have a UDF on a crystal form? Is it still there after an upgrade if you don't update the UDF's? OR maybe we only have to update Payroll UDFs after an upgrade?

This is what we used a while ago, not 100% sure of what we are currently using.

UDFs for framework are still in the work files with no updating needed.

If you have a non Business Framework module, you still need to update them.
