I'm trying to convert a 4.30 to 2015 advanced but it is telling me that there is master developer mods that I don't want to install. How do I get around this ?

I usually make a copy of the original installation, uninstall the mods and upgrade from the copy.

Thanks @MarkKotyla that is what I ended up doing. Thought there might be a easier way.

Is there an MD folder? Try deleting that?

For future reference.. Sometimes the MD Utililties are installed and they create an MD folder (as Jeff pointed out). You may be able to have the conversion program ignore these by removing the ""L"" records from sy0ctl.soa. Key begins with lM/D
