I'm trying to assign the repository for Sage Intelligence 2014 and the *long string of expletives deleted* thing keeps blanking out when I hit OK. The folder is shared. What else does this *shorter string of expletives deleted* thing want?

OR it doesn't blank out the field, but appears to accept it - but then if you go back into anything it's still asking for the repository.

LOL...Where are you trying to change the *shorter string of expletive's repository folder at? The log in screen? Sometime it does this for me at the log in screen but, usually have no problem opening license manager going to file, change meta data repository and putting the file location in there. It needs to be a unc path too. When you change the repository you usually need to re- register it again unless that repository was already registered.

Not sure how to attach post on this from a few weeks back. Larry Bradford stated: And it was something in the user... Once I got them to log me in as domain administrator instead of my user ""that is EXACTLY the same"" (which it is obviously not) I was good to go. This is why I always strongly request the main admin user for this stuff. 2 hours later...

License Manager doesn't let me get past the repository *expletive deleted* to get to licensing. Now I am doing this from the menu in 2014, so not sure about the user - this is a Sage 100 Advanced, so would the user be the Sage 100 Advanced service user (or app, not sure how it's setup on their server at the moment), or the actual user? I hate *BLEEP* security. And don't get me started on little *BLEEPING* nerds who create viruses so we HAVE this stupid security...

I exited Sage and ran again Run as Admin and got past the dang prompt. Now we'll see if my license works... Of course it didn't. Had to call Sales to get the correct one. GOOD GRIEF.

I've had the SI keys NOT work 2 out of 2 times I've tried to register clients. Part of the upgrade process to contact Sage ahead of time.

Well, this is a crack up - they used the customer number in the spot for serial number. They didn't even TRY to get it right.
