I'm stumped. Have a client using dot matrix printers and customized AR invoices. New upgrade to v2014 from 3.71, The customized invoice form drops down several lines on the second page when printing from normal AR invoice printing in Sage 100. The standard form works, AND the custom form works fine when printing from within Crystal Designer.

Generic printer driver? Do you have a printer saved within the Crystal form, or is it No Printer?

There is an output type for Dot Matrix. Is the form set to use this template? I use this for one client running v2013 invoice printing.

The Crystal form is set to No Printer, and I am using AR_Invoice4.rpt as the template which is the dot matrix form.

I had a client with this same issue and I ended up creating a new form on the printer server properties, then assigning that form in the crystal report.

Thanks for assistance here, but not there yet. I tried going into printer server properties and creating a new form, but could not get it right. Sometimes the form would creep UP, and sometimes down, and once the 1st and 2nd pages were good, but the 3rd page dropped about 1.5 inches. The printer is EPSON FX-2180. I tried to find an updated driver for Windows 7, but no luck. Any other ideas?

Eeeww, Yes there was an issue in 1099 or w-2 forms ""scrolling"" after a couple pages printed back in my days of Sage Support But I don't see any articles being returned from search in the Old- 'Archived' KB. Woe, they didn't take that away again. Oh Man, I hope not. Maybe your access is working better - the search is on SCROLLING. Another option is Google, Occassionally I get lucky and find something there. Also check the form layout for any Can Grow fields that may result in a shorter or longer form , sheet, print area. Fix the size so the print area doesn't fluxuate. I recall doing this in the message lines and that bottom area of the form. That's everything I got on this. Good Luck.

What are the lines per page set at in the printer settings ON the printer (not the driver)? Sometimes they are set a 63 lines per page.

Have you tried the Generic Printer driver?
