Sage 100

I'm running into a situation where the Servers tab in Company Maintenance is grayed out. I'm getting ready to setup c/c processing for a customer through SPS. This is version 4.5 PVX PU3. It's a brand new install for a new customer so no upgrades are involved. I've tried the recommendation in the KB article about generating a new c/c encryption key but that doesn't seem to do the trick. There's probably something stupid that I'm missing!

And it's Sage 100 Standard.

You may have a bad activation key.

I wonder if it is tied to the unlocking key. My ""premium"" install is exhibiting the same grayness and I have the CC module key also. If I click on the PC Charge in the drop down, the panel opens up. This has been installed since last fall.

Sage swears it's the right one. I can't even get to the drop down box...it's grayed out too.

That is a problem then. I was wondering (on my installation) with SPS, there aren't a lot of fields to worry about. But if you can't change the drop down, then there is an issue. EGAD!

Just when I thought this would be easier with SPS!

It's probably the keys. Just checked my install and Sage issued me new user and activation keys when I got SPS. Haven't entered them yet, but noticed I can't access anything on the Servers tab either.

Shocking. Sage. Bad Keys. But Tom Miller say's this problem is all cleared up ... ;-)

I'm also almost positive it's the keys.

Don't worry Sage can fix that - it'll only take about 6 months..

Just called into Sage sales. They regenerated the keys on the spot and as soon as I refreshed Atlas, I could see them. Now, will they work?

Rats.......... Makes you doubt your ability as an installer................

Try installing MAS on yoru local workstation using those keys. That will rule out the codes..

Thanks Jeff. Will do. I'm getting a screen shot for Sage. They want me to e-mail it to salesadvisor.na@sage.com. That's where Wayne's 6 months come into play!

Believe it or not, Sage sent new unlocking keys and they worked. Solved the problem.
