    I'm pretty sure the answer to this is yes - but want to double check. Can the size of a UDF be INCREASED without losing data? I believe that you can do this through custom office without any known problems.

    That's my understanding. But I believe you can't decrease the size of a UDF.

    Yep. But as Brett said you can't decrease the size.
