I'm pretty sure it is not on the supported platform matrix yet, but is anyone running MAS on Windows Server 2011?

    Isn't server 2011, SBS 2011?

If it's SBS 2011, it is unsupported for Sage 100 Advanced, and not recommended for Sage 100 Standard (SBS servers in general are not recommended).

My Bad. What I should of asked was about Windows Server 2012 which i understand recently came out. Our purchasing agent indicated he tried to buy 2008 this week and was told he has to be 2012; however, he was also told it can be down graded to 2008 without having to purchase Software Assurance. Sounds like it was recent enough that no one is likely to have tried it.

Anyone tried Sage 100 on Server 2012 yet?

Had a customer ask me today about Server 2012. I haven't found anything yet to give me guidance one way or another. Does anyone have any experience with it yet? My customer is Sage 100 moving to version 4.5 shortly.

I found this on a LinkedIn post from last week in which Lori Maloof replied: ""We are in the process of testing Windows Server 2012 for version 4.5 and do not expect to have any issues. Look for an offical announcement later this month.

Thanks Barbara. Now that you mention it I remember seeing that post as well.

Have a client on SBS 2011 running 4.5 PU3 / EES 1.3 okay for a couple of months now. CRM and SQL Express are on a different box. They upgraded from 4.30. For this client there were additional Windows security issues to deal with 2011 but once resolved they have been okay so far.

We put a new client on one at the client's request. I told them it would be supported eventually and if we had issues, we would go to peer to peer while they were starting up. After I learned how to navigate the thing, install was good as was my testing. The client is coming off a Farm system that has no GL account numbers. They are in the process of building a chart, but haven't had any issues so far.
