I'm personally disturbed that customers are paying good money for ongoing Sage maintenance and here we are in December and I've not seen a single white paper that displays any expected new features in Sage 100 or a public discussion (ie - an email broadcast) about this next release. Have I missed an announcement somewhere? Sorry I don't count the Summit sessions as I think we're due some ongoing communication.

I agree, and would also like the timing. Every year it's a surprise. In the very old days, the partners received the release before the customers. We and the customers also have plans that include upgrades and implementations for new customers.

Count consultants as suckers along with any customer that has renewed. We paid for vapor-certifications.

I know we'd like something sooner, but can we get a Sage person from Irvine to come down to MOTM and fill us in? Maybe Diane Coffman.

And perhaps Joe Langner can drive her and show his support for 90 Minds.

Hit them up at Sage Inspire Tour in SoCal next week on the 9th. NorCal on the 11th. Customers will be there too. Make 'em squeal.

I personally would like to know what is in the pipeline for ACA reporting requirements. My clients are clamoring for ANYTHING and I haven't seen ANYTHING from Sage for 100 PR...

@BobPfahnl I thought this was to Inspire the customers to buy new stuff.

@JohnHoyt New stuff, or new fluff?

Sage's practices like this continue to push Sage 100 consultants into the arms of others. Even if Sage doesn't think this, it sure feels like they consider the Sage 100 community as easy marks.

@JerryNorman - They know it, they just can't admit it or even do anything about it. Their arms are tied. When your entire channel has picked up other products, how could you not know! Well everyone buy @JohnHoyt , but even he tried Syspro!

@JeffSchwenk - ditto on ACA! I've got people looking into timecard for more detailed time tracking for ACA requirements, but i really hate selling that antiquated module

@GaryFeldman I agree. I think NA is now pretty clear to themselves of what UK forced them into. They might have agreed at first, but now clearly see their predicament. Perhaps the new CEO will give them a path to recover. Although his Youtube performance on the Sage results left me cold ...

@GaryFeldman . . . but I saw the light, drank the Kool-Aid, and am a true blue/green Sage partner, except for the comments I make here.

Perhaps @JohnHoyt should be nominated for the spirit award this year!

you have to be a professional competitive brown-noser to win the sage spirit award - I'm trying to remember who won that last year....

The road ahead"" is more like a new england off ramp :) For any of you in the Northeast, think Saw Mill River Parkway

we have had bits and pieces filtering down on ACA: Here is what we believe we know now: You must have the payroll perpetual history turned on. You can store your insurance info in a spreadsheet. Sage is currently working with Aatrix to import the data from the spreadsheet into the report for ACA report submission.

Deborah Nelson. We were able to have her sit in a conference call with one of our concerned clients. If we receive documentation, none yet, I will see if I can upload it here.
