Now I can get on the "mad as heck" HL bandwagon when the topic of images appeared. A BIG pet peeve is the randomness of images being accepted or not. I use Snagit to grab screen shots. Most times the image pastes. Sometimes you see the outline. Delete the HL image, repaste. Nope. Try again, usually same. Delete the post, start anew and it works. Very frustrating.

Well the S* was a completely different post. The original post just wouldn't take. It was a lengthy summary of what was happening in the content library committee and a suggestion that we could use help to capture knowledge. I think it was all text and don't remember using any written special characters though I did utter a few after losing the post I'd been working on ..

Hi, Anne - do we have an idea of what those two users were trying to title their posts? The reason for the error in Wayne's screenshot (which I'm assuming probably didn't start with) would have been the asterisk in the word "S*", because the title of the posts do not accept special characters of certain types.
If you can confirm with him and and what they were trying to post, it was likely that that was causing the error, but let me know and we can go from there - thanks!

I spent like 1/2 an hour writing up a post - no graphics - and it belched out that error. I'm like ok that's that. Time for a different place to post. I'd also run into an error 2x trying to post an update on our favorite topic of the moment ( StarShip ) and that errored twice as well though that one had some graphics that I posted in. There's something definitely wrong.
