Sage 100

I'm migrating company from Sage 100 Advanced 4.3 to 4.5. I'm getting the error the CompanyMigrationTest failed with the following Error: The file C:\ms90450\mas90\MAS_SYSTEM\SY_MigratedCompany.M4T is being used by another task and cannot be opened. I cannot find such a file. TIA for any ideas.

Use Task Manager on the server to see if any PVXWIN32.EXE or MIGRATE.EXE processes are running. I was doing a test migration and the MAS90 folder was restored from back up on a new server but the host was running during the back up and the pvxwin32.exe was missing from the home folder. I copied from the pvxwin32 from the current install and pasted to the back up and it resolved the issue. I have had success running the migrate.exe from the home folder - go to the home folder and double click on Migrate.exe

Hi Lisa, thanks for your response. I don't have either pvx or migrate task running. I do have a pvxwin32.exe in the home folder. I don't have a migrate.exe in the home folder. i've been running it from the migration folder. If i copy it to the home folder it runs but gives an error. thanks again.
