    v2019 Standard, Ave Cost Item valuation, IM_ItemWarehouse table. When / what Sage 100 programs / processes populate and clear the CostCalcQtyCommitted and CostCalcCostCommitted?   I have a customer that has a few hunfred items that have stranded values in these fields.  I know there are utilities to clear these and I want to know what causes them and to be stranded and when would values in these fields be valid.

    @Lee Graham  Unfortunately, rebuilding the sort files does not fix this issue.  The IM_CommitCheckClear_utl, IM_CommitDataEntry_utl, IM_AverageCost_utl.m4p Sage utilities need to be run.  These utilities need to be requested from Sage, and Sage requires a "pre-release agreement" be signed by the client, and reviewed by the Sage legal department before they will send the utilities.  ​

    I created a simple Crystal report to display records in the IM_ItemWarehouse table that have stranded values in the CostCalcQtyCommitted and CostCalcCostCommitted fields.  The customer is going to use DFDM to fix each record.

    Maybe someone will post the utilities here.   Seems that they should be included or even better yet, added to the sort utility.  Even better than that, Sage could pin down the culprit and fix that like they did with the bad date bug.  Oops, wasn't that a developer who did that?

    I have these files. Not sure what versions they will work with, but I just tried the Commit Check Clear in v2018 and it worked.
