I'm having to reinstall MAS EES 1.4 onto a new server. The customer does not use the CRM product. Is it required to install the CRM server even though they do not use the CRM product? At the end of the MAS ERP Server installation it tells me that ""You must install or upgrade SageCRM from the Sage MAS 90 Extended Enterprise Suite Installation DVD window to complete your installation"".

NOT an expert here! But what would be the harm to fire up MAS without CRM installed? If it works great, if not, you still have another day of your weekend left to get it installed....................... In a way, isn't v4.5 just a dfferent flavor of EES? Only one of my v4.5 installs is using CRM and the ones without run without a hitch. Just don't activate the CRM module in MAS.

It is not necessary to install CRM if you are not going to use it.. I believe the integration engine is installed by the MAS part of the install, so you will need to set that service to disabled or manual.
