Scripting

I'm having an issue with a button script at a client site. The script runs perfectly in our development environment but when moved to the client's server I get the following error message in the attachment. Not sure what isn't registered properly to make the scripting work. TIA for any help. I parsed some of the script to save space in the post.

Is ""Allow External Access"" checked in Company Maintenance?

Is the script set to run on the server? If your system is Standard and theirs is Advanced and it set to run on the client then that would explain what you see.

Thanks Nicole. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in trying to figure things out we forget to check the obvious. Funny thing is their production live company code has it enabled but their test company did not. It is working now.

Tim this happens A LOT actually, to the point where I wanted to find out why. It turns out Allow External Access flag value isn't copied from your source company code during Copy but from whichever company code has ""Use as Default Company for Server Settings"". Feel free to ask me other little known arcane details. E.g. When I worked for Sage I wrote up bug reports and once in a while it was because there were typos in the code. On one occasion I found it it was because the programmer's nails weren't cut (true story but they'll never cop to it)
