Jim - I'm not sure if you're dealing with WIP or not. I am and WIP being off is how they discovered the problem in the first place. The payroll person is new and is a button pusher so she didn't catch the fact that burden wasn't being calculated. It was strange - it did calculate burden on a few jobs - all with the job type 001. However it didn't calculate for ALL jobs with that job type. I wasn't able to figure out why it worked on the ones it did.
Once I got the VI job working, I imported and processed the 2 payrolls. I compared the DTR from their payroll and mine to determine the required adjusting GL entry and compared the 2 JC Burden Allocation Registers to determine which ones needed to have burden entered in direct cost entry.
