I'm considering a Surface Pro 2. Anybody have any comments, reviews, or recommendations?

I have the Surface Pro and love it. Used at the 90Minds meeting. First time taking it on a trip with out a full laptop and was very pleased.

If you buy online you can claim an education discount and I don't think they check. Keep reviewing the microsoft online store because they seem to have deals that come and go. For example the Surface 2 at one point was 10% off and free keyboard. Sean has one too - I don't think he's in this group so he probably won't see the message.

How do you find the battery life Kelly? And what size did you get? Memory? Storage?

I have a Surface Pro 128 and have been using it as my main computer for over a year. Absolutely love it. The battery life is not an issue if you buy the power click cover / keyboard. The main disadvantage is that there is only 1 USB port (USB 3.0). You need to have a USB 3 hub. I carry a 4 port hub with me and have a permanent hub at home and at the office. There is also a docking station you may consider. I also have mini display port to HDMI and mini display to VGA adapters, USB to RJ45 Ethernet, and an external ""passport"" USB 3 hard drive.

It looks like they will give you $100 off if you make the purchase online from a Windows XP computer or bring a Windows XP computer to the store. You might try calling the store first to see.
