General Consultant Discussion

I'm a member of the Linked In JobOps Discussion Group, which was intended for sharing information much like this site. That seems to have fizzled ... I'm wondering how many JobOps resellers we have here in this group and if there is interest in starting a list, or category or something to share issues (aka bugs!). Anyone interested? If it's a go, I'm not sure how to start something up like this that would be easy to categorize or group or whatever ...

We would be interested in hosting this - most likely in a separate group.

That's cool Wayne ... is that something you would start up then? I will be a loyal follower and contributor! I'll wait to hear more from you.

Yes I am polling a couple of the other people offline to see how we'd want to set this up technically (type of group) -- but I think it's a great idea.

I created an "" * Job Ops "" group -- can you see and join it? (Not sure if I have to manually invite)

Unfortunately I don't see the group. I even logged in fresh to 90minds and it is not there.

I just sent out invitations to everyone who was in our ""chit chat"" group. I think there were 87 people there. Everyone should get an email notice shortly to join.

I took the subscribers to the largest group here (since unfortunately Socialcast doesn't let us export every email for some odd reason) and uploaded them to the new Job Ops group. Also unfortunately we do not have the power to directly add people --- the way Socialcast works is they send out email invitations which: a. People overlook b. Gets sent to spam c. Ignored If we could click one button to ""add all"" we would certainly do it. Socialcast has some work to do on their member management routine.

This happened to me. It took me a while to locate the e-mail that Wayne sent out. it was delivered to me on 1/6/12 at 1 PM. Once I located it, I just clicked on the join this group button and Job Ops appeared as a group for me. It went to the address that you use for Socialcast log ins.

If you look in the ""Notifications"" in the upper right corner of your Socialcast screen you may see the invite there as well. The invitation process is a terrible weakness of Socialcast.
