Ok, I said it for you. Or at least what you're thinking silently...

Every meeting it's a "deer in the headlights" about why we need to pay attention to urgent support because we don't seem to have an issue...

    1. Urgent support is for "System Down" and / or client has an office full of people who cannot work ( or be paid )
    2. It's not for important but NOT urgent
    3. The group is created to broadcast to all members for every post ( Yes, as a matter of fact, I do understand that users can opt out of this - but that's not why the urgent support group exists - this groups exists to broadcast an extremely urgent message via email to all subscribers because an urgent support matter has arisen ) which means that every reply ping-pongs our entire urgent support membership - even routine chatter

I do not dispute that any of these are important. They are just not, IMO, urgent.

Can anyone point me to where I can find the difference between these tax rules? I've searched everywhere ...

In general. I agree with you.  The only one which is a grey area is payroll processing errors.  The system is no down, but the client has to get a payroll out the door today!  This is a different form of urgency, and the main reason I implore my clients to outsource payroll and HR compliance (not management of employees).

Been meaning to respond.  I don't necessarily agree with all of that, because at year-end I think it's fine for extra Payroll stuff to go into Urgent.  Lots and lots of people are working with Payroll so there is a good chance a posting could apply to the masses.  And I'd say this will only occur for about 6 weeks or so.  However, I agree this one from this morning (which is actually non-P/R) should not be in Urgent.
