HI
Does anyone have experience with IIG's Rental Software?  good? bad? ugly?
Customer is currently using another Rental Software and broken programs can't be fixed as customer can't upgrade to 2019.3 or 4 as other third parties won't update their products.  So customer stuck between rock and hard spot.

Has anyone complained to Sage?  Not holding my breath but need to cross that off the list.  Give Sage a chance to show us the depth that they care about the channel AND end user.  Maybe once Linda gets PM cleaned up, she can take on the rental software bad boy!

I’m not sure which rental you’re dealing with but I will share that I had a less than pleasant experience with BCS ARM.

There were two issues:

1. I had problems finding a reference for the quality of their upgrade ( this is a polite and very summarized one sentence )

2. The ARM folks seemed to recognize this and ( according to the orphan who had contacted me ) advised that it was best if the orphan ROR’d to ARM and had them do the upgrade.

Most of this is what the orphan shared so it’s possible that I was only told half the story regarding the ROR.

This was all back in summer 2019 so it’s possible the situation has changed with BCS and ARM.

After that experience, BCS ARM joined one other ISV ( who pulled the same stunt 15+ years ago ) on my never ever list.

IIG has been in the game a long time.  We do not currently have anyone using the software but had in the past.  They have flown under the radar compared to some of the more well-known MD's.
