if you want to ""unlock"" an SI report, it asks for a password. What password is this? None of the usual suspects are working (Sage Admin password, Sage user password, ""blank"", ""password""). THANKS!

    Did someone password-protect the sheet?

No, these are just the standard reports that no one has touched, that come locked from Sage.

You can create a copy which is not locked, but I don't know of anywhere that that password has been released.

Hm. OK. Have a client on 2014 who does not like all of the std reports showing up in the Viewer and you can't lock a user out of the Viewer. No, they can't run the reports, but she just doesn't want them on there at all.

I've heard you can't remove the standard reports from the viewer which is aggravating for users that have a lot of reports. As Kathryn said, you make a copy to unlock it.

By starting the working folder names with a number or symbol, you can force them to sort to the top. I put my working folders in parentheses.

You need to call Sage support . They will login and type in the magic password. They won't give it out..Once the report is unlocked it can be deleted.

I understood the templates that come with the product are locked by design and that making a working copy in your own folder was SOP. What would be the reason for wanting to delete a master template? Are the viewer list and report manager list two separate lists?

Client doesn't want to delete the report. Client doesn't want it to show up in the Viewer, since everyone can see the Viewer reports. I know they can't RUN them, but this doesn't work like normal options with regards to Roles - normally you would be able to keep them from starting the Viewer, period. And if you can't stop them from starting it, she doesn't want all of those reports to display. And yes, the viewer list CAN be different than the manager list.
