There is no cost - the app is free. It will allow us all to communicate easily while mobile - plus is has an area for scheduled events (click on the group icon and you'll be able to see the calendar).
This is open to all members - consultant and vendor members - (please don't add non-members or customers) and their employees/consultants.
Most importantly this will be our GOTO place to list all social events the group is hosting or which our members are part of.
Already we have events for:
- Scripting
- Sage Partner Reception
- THEevent
- Calcasieu Private Dining
When in New Orleans we will probably be spread out across various hotels. This will be the best way to coordinate activities and let members attending Sage Summit know of meetups and events they might want to attend.
Please don't wait until the last minute to join -- it's much easier to get setup on your smartphone BEFORE you are in New Orleans.
Also **take a minute to familiarize yourself with GroupMe so that you learn how to mute notifications** (for when you are in sessions). Notifications can be muted on a group-by-group basis or you can turn them off for a period of time (useful for when you are going to bed and don't want to be woken by late night chatter).
