  • 1.  If you ask someone to email you to set an appointm

If you ask someone to email you to set an appointment and then they call and miss you and then you email to ask for a scheduled time and then they call again and then you call back and never can get them and then you email them again to pick a time ... At what point is it acceptable to tell the person to stop f**king around?

Wouldn't you think that the busier someone is, the easier it would be for them to understand why it's important to set a schedule so stuff gets done?

Maybe you should set an appointment to sell CRM to them.....

Why don't you just send them a meeting request? If they accept, then it's on the calendar. Easy, peasy.

Wow, @DebThomas I just heard someone use that phrase two days ago - Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy - and the other people in the group said, ""What?? Do people actually use that phrase?

I'm with Peter - I have a few customers where you send a request to meet and hear nothing for weeks. Invariably a month later someone emails with an emergency request or to ask why nothing's been done on their issue(s). On the plus side - these types of customers are generally poor no matter which partner they use. So when they leave you they don't go and become a great customer for someone else.

This particular prospect is really annoying the crap out of me. I sent him two times and instead he calls and leaves a message ""call back any time"". Funny ... because when I call back I always get his voice mail.
