If you are posting sales by division and you enter a sales order for a division 01 customer, shouldn't the sales and COGS account numbers be changed to 01 for items entered? Yes, division 01 has 01 as the segment to post to and yes, the accounts exist with 01 as the division. What am I missing???

What version?

In SO Options there is a setting Post Sales to General Ledger by Division. The options are Yes, No, Warehouse. Where it posts is based on your selection there.
