If this off-topic story does not perfectly sum up the state of the VAR market - I don't know what does.
Many of the VARS keep trying tactics that aren't working, haven't worked in a while and blame the economy, publisher, customer, prospect, etc.
At some point you have to make a change if you find that what you're trying isn't working...
