If anyone is staying through Sunday think about brunch at the Hotel Del - it's expensive at $98 per person - but you can say you've been. We went last year and loved it (except the cost). Will probably go again.
I am not proposing this as a group activity - more of an FYI about things you may want to do in San Diego.
This is not your typical ""buffet"" type food. It's all high-end and great desserts. You can get breakfast, lunch, etc.
