  • 1.  I'd like to prohibit users from typing over/accide

    I'd like to prohibit users from typing over/accidentally renaming or creating form codes in SO. Any way to do this? If you have even a mediocre amount of data entry I find that these forms quickly become polluted by people doing heads-down data entry who land (mistakenly) in the form code field and type over the description or in some cases seem to create new codes mistakenly. Seems there should be a READ ONLY form selection option.

    if the client is on v2015 or greater, you can do this with scripting.

    In v2016 (and prior I assume) you can ""lock"" the Form Code field via Custom Office to allow users to select different form codes but not type/create them. At the moment I only have access to v2016 to check, but I know Sage took away the ability to modify form printing screens via CO; I think that maybe started with v2017.
