I'd like to open a private group specifically for vetting potential new members - both consultant and affiliate. This could be our new membership committee. During events such as MOTM and Summit we tend to receive inquiries from companies we may not individually know and it would be nice to quickly vet the companies through a group of perhaps 6 to 12 members. Membership could be Admin and 6 to 12 consultant members. Possibly add one or two affiliate members.

It's a good idea.I can be the admin and we can setup the rest of the committee.

I created the group - will let Robert populate it with members. I don't think we have any immediate need but it will be useful to vet companies or consultants that want to join. It is an external group which should allow for affiliates to join if desired.

Unless Robert has approved already, we have one pending new member.

We have signed up several new members in the past couple of weeks. Some may have not had the opportunity to take advantage of the early bird rate for MOTM. I propose that we offer them the opportunity via a special discount promotion (non published on the website) to sign up. We could send them an e-mail after they submit payment advising them of the special opportunity. Thoughts??

@JimWoodhead could we set up a separate password for them to access the early bird rate (or set up a new ticket category)?

So We need one for MOTM only and one for full conference. Same price as earlybird

I will work with Robert on it. I believe he has an e-mail template that they are sent. Perhaps we can modify that or send another one. We want the maximum effect regardless.

I have an email template that automatically gets sent out when I add them to SC but it's just as easy to tweak it when I send it out.
