It must be a rights thing because I see it when I go into a group as well.

@MoiraGoggin it looks like you have to be an admin of the group to do that. I just made you an admin of the General Discussion group.

Broadcasted the poll and we are getting a lot more responses. Thanks for the help @ThereseLogeais and @RobertWood

Looks like we are roughly 50/50 on Summit attendance so far. Out of 66 votes, 34 attending, 30 not attending, 2 undecided.

Update 4/10/17 after issuing a broadcast of the poll, we stand at 77 votes, 38 not attending, 36 attending, 3 undecided. Reviewed the Affiliate MOTM survey to see how many attending Atlanta = 10. With the number this low I do not think it's worth having a social. We'll still have the Expo Crawl to complete the obligation to the Affiliates. I've left VM message for Bob Tobey IB-N, emailed Gary Feldman but he's out ill. I'll let them know asap.

36 people attending is certainly NOT a drop in the bucket! While we may not arrange to have a big spread, I certainly this it is worthwhile to have a partner event of some type. An open bar or something.

What are you going to let them know @MoiraGoggin ? I'm confused as we have not truly decided yet, have we?? I-BN wants to have one, we can certainly do something with them.

@JimWoodhead as the Event Planning Committee board liaison, has this been discussed yet?

Yes, Moira and I have been in communications about it. We are just not sure about having a full 90minds party.

Bob and Gary haven't returned any calls since we ask them about a budget.

I don't have any headcount information from the other events. Last year was a combined SLA. NOLA and Vegas were well attended but no headcount. I would guess about 50 from each. So we don't a feast but we still need to have something besides the expo crawl.

This is from the pre-Summit survey last year.

For the record, the Vegas mingle ran 4,297.74, NOLA bash was $7,660. and the SLA mixer cost 90M $4,324. None of this was subsidized by vendors even though we had several willing to pony up a keg or two. I am sure we can find another 4K in our budget for something next month.

For the record I did talk with Gary on Friday, Bob hadn't returned calls previously since he was out of town. Seems like @JeffSchwenk and @ThereseLogeais really, really, want a 90 Minds party in Atlanta?

@JeffSchwenk if you can find money for a party then we shouldn't have any problem finding the funds for platform, knowledge base, marketing and website needs, correct?

I'm being sincere - we have lots of plans this year and want to make sure we can fund the fun stuff as well as the programs that bring in and retain members. Truly if a party is that important by all means lets use the funds for it, but it may mean a cut to something else.

I was under the impression that I-BN was sponsoring this? If they aren't sponsoring the entire party, then why not find affiliates that would sponsor the remainder?
