Anyone else getting client calls about year-end stuff for 2025? Sage has an updated FAQ with some helpful tips.
Note that payroll users on Sage 100 2022 will need to upgrade next year in order to keep receiving Payroll version upgrades ( Sage appears to be still adhering to their previous schedule of N-3 for payroll compatibility even as their standard N-2 for supported Sage 100 versions is used elsewhere).
Year-end FAQ for Sage 100
Sage 100 Payroll 2.26.0 - The PR 2.26.0 update is compatible with all currently supported versions: 2025, 2024, 2023, and 2022 (for this final year-end). This update prepares the program for year-end forms processing in payroll and ensures correct data routing to these forms.
Interim Release Download (IRD) - IRD 2025 is required and it installs on the versions listed below. Interim Release Downloads (IRDs) currently apply only to 1099 processing in Accounts Payable (AP). IRD installation will appear as "Installed End of Year Changes" in the Installed Modules Listing in Library Master / Reports. See Sage 100: Download Portal. Estimated release date is December 20, 2025.
