Sage US leadership for partner sales and support

    Organizational change

    Dear Valued Partner,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share some important news with you regarding a recent organizational change at Sage.

After careful consideration, Marc Monday, Vice President of US Partner Ecosystem Sales & Partner Strategy, has made the decision to leave Sage to pursue opportunities outside of the organization. We want to express our sincere gratitude to Marc for his valuable contributions to Sage during his time with us.

A succession plan for this critical role is forthcoming, and we are committed to ensuring a smooth transition to maintain the high level of support you've come to expect from Sage.

If you have questions or need further information, please don't hesitate to contact me directly. We appreciate your partnership and look forward to continued success and collaboration.

    Thank you,

    Mark Hickman
    Managing Director of North America
    Sage

When a Sage employee exits the revolving door, does anyone care?

It's more a measure of a company's stability. The more stable and growing a company is, the less frequently you'll see unexpected turnover. At least, that's my theory. I think Sage North America is (and has been) operating as a branch office of Sage UK since they sent Pascal Houillon from the home office. IMO, there's minimal strategic direction set in North America.

This definitely sends a negative message to the channel. Marc was hardly around long enough for most consultants to meet or talk with him, although he implied his tenure would only be temporary. This year he only attended the Intacct conference, not MOTM, which also sends a message to us. Unless it involves Intacct, Sage does not care about us.
