IB-N (Gary Feldman's firm) has approached us to ho

IB-N (Gary Feldman's firm) has approached us to hold a joint social event during Summit 2017. Originally to be held at the IB-N datacenter, Bob Toby just notified us the data center will not allow a party and asked if we have other ideas. **Questions - please let me know your response** 1. Are we going to have a social event at Summit Atlanta this year? 2. If we do have a social event at Summit this year would we like to co-host the event with Gary Feldman's firm?

I believe Bob Tobey has been put in charge of planning an i-bn event. He would know more about options than any of us would IF we are considering doing something plus, we don't really want to compete with them. Thoughts?

This is what Bob wrote - seems @ThereseLogeais that they want to a **joint** event. _Hi guys, Well, the data center put a kibosh on the party at the data center idea. I-BN would still like to do something with 90 Minds if possible. Any thoughts pro or con?_

@ThereseLogeais do you are a Board Member want a social event at Summit and if so, would you like to co-host with IB-N?

I won't be at Summit this year. With that in mind, I think a 90 Minds social is appropriate. Probably lower-impact than our previous ones. Co-hosting with i-bn seems appropriate and convenient.

I vote yes on this. Originally Gary indicated to me when they were talking about doing an event that it would either be on 5/9 or 5/10. I told him I have a Sage event related to Sage Live on 5/10, so 5/9 worked best for me. I know it is not all about me, but with such a short Summit, there will be some competing receptions and parties plus meetings and dinners with customers.

Yes, they want to do a joint event and yes, I would think we should but @JimWoodhead as the Event Committee rep, what say you? And @JeffSchwenk as the Treasurer, what would you propose be our budget? TIA.

Budget is a big question, Are we going to have it at the Omni or close to it.? I guess Gary will be able to give some suggestions. I will reach out.

Meant no offense - just trying to get the board's direction so I can take care of what I can.

Reach out to APS. They have been begging to do something with the group. Between IBN and APS, that should cover most of it. BTW, does IBN have a budget number in mind for their share? I believe IBN hosted a party back in Nashville (2012) in the cavernous Gaylord. Good party once you figured out where it was. Also, do we have a number sense of 90M folks making an appearance in Hot Lanta? WSP may be able to chip in for the karaoke. Could be a honky tonk theme. Beer, whiskey, chips and peanuts. I am getting psyched(!). Fixed it JH. Or perhaps I meant psychoed?

@JeffSchwenk That last sentence said it all. It had no ""!"" at the end, so how psyched could you be? ;-)

Think we are looking at a 2 hour reception type event. @JimWoodhead has made some inquires and we'll see what pricing is like. I don't know IB-N budget yet nor attendance in general. My gut feeling is that Atlanta will be a smaller crowd than in the past. Sage is now giving away the London Summit tickets and cut their attendance estimates in half. http://www.smbjumpstreet.com/sage-summit-uk-april-5-6-2017-prices-lowered-free-attendance-estimates-cut-50/
