    I wasn't aware there was extended support for Gold. Don't think this is that big a deal except for maybe the west coast who now have support ending at 5pm.

    Sage used to offer GOLD subscribers: 5am to 8pm PT support (Extended) Now the change makes it: 6am to 5pm PT I'm not positive but I think that's the regular Sage support hours.

    I read the same notice and thought: I didn't realize they had extended hours. I wonder why the had very little call volume during the extended hours?

    It was one of the advantages of the Gold Plan. If they start chipping away at other benefits, I can see many customers opting for Silver. Most Gold customers do not call Sage, but us instead, and 15% discount on new licenses and standard modules has not been significant to most. The discount on Summit is overridden by the $99 deals, so what's left?

    They get free anytime learning. Priority support for the rare times most call Sage. I have a few golds but I think they mostly go gold because the added cost is nominal in their case.
