Sage 100

I was meeting with a customer yesterday and he asked me what other Sage 100 customers were doing for dashboard reporting. It made me wonder what your customers were doing. Say a monthly sales person report that they wanted made visible somewhere (emailed, website, etc). There is no budget for Dataself.

We've done bunches of charts and graphs in Excel using a connection to an Access database with queries into Sage 100. It's grown into a decent dashboard for this company.

Sage Intelligence - there was a good demo of dashboards at a 90 Minds Battle of the Reporting tools Chicago Summit, and they've made improvements since that time. Also Power BI, even the free version, is worth looking at too.

Another vote here for Power BI (https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/get-started/). If you don't mind a tiny bit of manual labor, you can get away with the free version.

Ido has a way to do auto-refreshing dashboards using Visual Cut... but I have not checked it out yet. https://milletsoftware.com/visualcutBenefit.htm
