I wanted to give everyone an update on a summit get together I have been planning My idea is to have have a cocktail party with appetizers and a couple drinks per person. Similar to last year). I have already contacted a popular restaurant that has a private dining room that would work great. The restaurant name is ""Cochran"". Their room can hold approximately 120# people. Their food is great. I mentioned the place to Chuck Peddy and he though this place would work great. (Food and location). It is about 2 blocks from the convention center. At this point I am thinking it will be a Tuesday night party from 8 to 10pm. During Tuesday we will have a sage summit floor crawl like last year and I can pass out the lanyard and tickets. After summits closes at 7pm every one with a ticket can head over to our private party. With regards to the budget. There is a $4500 minimum to have the party at this location. So the final cost will likely be around $6k with service charge and taxes included. This is a little over my $5k budget. Is that acceptable? One small issue is that there is another company with a soft hold for both Monday and Tuesday night's. The way it works is if we commit to the restaurant the other company will have 24 hours to match our offer. So it we are going to do this we need to commit ASAP. So in other words we need to decide right away if this is what we want to do. Thoughts?

TL;DR. 90minds Sage Summit party. Tuesday night for members and invited guests at 8pm 2 blocks from Summit. (Great food and good location). Cost $6k Go or No Go.

Great. I will contact the restaurant and see if we can get it the space. I have a couple backup plans but this place is my number one choice. It has potential to be another great time

Well, looks like I am late to this party. Admin still not showing in my home group unless I post a response. @RobertWood Any thoughts???? FWIW, looks good to me also. Jim, let me know if you debit card is working yet.... And as to your budget, I am not sure you have ever came in under your budget especially after you have given me a couple extra drink tickets. Based on prior events, I would estimate your final bill for this will be closer to 7K. A good time will be had for all, word will get out that this will be THE event. Perhaps we should set up a booth so they can join 90Minds (the usual summit special) and attend???

Great news!!! We got the spot!! So our party will be on Tuesday night from 7:30 to 10. Details will follow as we get them. We will be passing out tickets Tuesday on the summit floor... Likely during our summit crawl!!
