I upgraded client to Applianz Server 2012, Sage 2015 Advanced, SP2. 18 user system. (They were on Applianz Server 2003, Sage 2013 without any issues.)
They are now getting ghost sessions, sometimes it seems when some users sign on, sometimes when they sign off. I can see, for example, that there might be 7 user Launchers, but Master Console says ""12 active users."" I might then run *info and it might tell me that there are no user licenses available. They are also using Starship on 4 stations. By mid morning, they might have 7 people signed on , but no more licenses available.
I've been monitoring the PID on the server and manually stopping ghost ones, but even when I've kicked off all ghost PIDS, there still might not be more licenses.
With Sage, we've changed the DEP to only Microsoft, renamed the sessions and other files that are standard to rename, and about 10 hours of other items that are ""standard."" I worked with Carmen and she was amazing. However, till having this issue. This afternoon, I asked Applianz to turn off opportunistic locking.
