    I thought this to be a very interesting exchange on the future of credit card processing in version 5.0.     That certainly seems to hit a sore spot with Sage. I'm pretty sure I was accurate in my response and it was based on the information (from Erika) that was posted on LinkedIN. I'm sure that Sage senses potential fallout when people realize they can no longer user a processor other than Sage Payments.

    Even those that use SPS will see the change in 5.0 as added complexity to their business. Each client I've informed of the planned change in 5.0 was not happy about it, including those that use SPS.

    Is the sore spot the loss of being able to store CC data in MAS 90/200?

    Yes. I suppose that since they don't know the details on how it will work in 5.0, they are expecting the worse. The bottom line is they are loosing functionality, because Sage wants to reduce its cost.
