I thought the plan for Sunday of MOTM was to work on certification exams. However, I was just on Sageu.com and the ""recertification"" was the ""What's New in 4.5"". Has anyone seen the 2013 recertification stuff?

At the time we created the agenda we didn't know if certification would be a factor so we left a day open for it. Last year we did it in the hotel lobby. Looks like this year we can relax... No info on the recert/2013

I called Sage training about Certs (prompted by the MOTM Sunday Schedule) and was told that I was current. Asked for and got it in writing. Haven't taken any any Sage 100 certs since last January. No mention of new requirements.

There was some type of requirement regarding CRM floating around. I believe (though have conflicting opinions) that if you took the CRM standalone exam of last year (which most of us wrapped up at MOTM 2012) then you did not have to take this years'. To be on the safe side - and because it was free - I took this years' CRM exam. I believe Sage did not initially plan for a separate CRM exam but so few partners took the standalone one that they rethought and introduced a shorter ""integrating CRM"" type exam (not sure if that was the title of the exam).

BTW, we just had one person who was set to be decertified last Friday, 2/8, unless she took the installation assessment, which was really the 4.5 one from last year. She wanted to pay the $100 to allow for two more weeks of prep time and I said, no, let's just do this so we hunkered down and passed it on Friday. Geez, I hate those things! I mean, ""she"" hunkered down and passed it.....

And while we were discussing what would happen if she DIDN'T recertify, it occurred to me that I have not called in for support ONCE this entire last year! Wanna know why??? 90 Minds/OASIS, the next best thing to sliced bread..... Gotta love this group!!!!
