Sage 100

I think the answer is still 'no' but does anyone know if there's a way to set up a grid layout (e.g., S/O Entry Lines) that defaults for all users? For example, we want to control the actual fields to be present in the primary grid, and the order they're in and the column widths.

I once set up the layout using my log in and then DFDM'd SY_GridDefinition modifying each record from a user and workstation record to a all users and all workstations record. Was a PITA though. In theory though, you might be able to this via BOI using one of the grid definition objects.

I get this question a fair amount. Especially for larger user sites where they have many data entry people working in Sales Order and don't want to go workstation to workstation and manually configure each setup.

I had initially briefly looked at the DFDM route, David, but pretty quickly dismissed it upon realizing it'd be pretty involved and potentially messy.
