I think I agree with most of these points except he is wrong on the profitability. A pretty major miss for a publication of this sized.

His comments on pricing are quite relevant, and it's good to somebody like this explicitly talk about the trade-offs with a cloud configuration of perpetual-license-on-cloud-server.
