I think as we start to get more involved in collecting money from OASIS and 90 Minds members and for having BizNet and possibly other shared services that the time has come to form a separate legal entity for 90 Minds with it's own tax ID number and bank account. When I initially setup 90 Minds in oder for us to get free checking/etc I had to put it as a sub account of my business at the bank. I don't want to have these funds under my tax ID number and think that a separate corporation/LLC needs to be formed and a tax ID created. Then we can obtain our own bank account totally segregated from any other members.

@JimWoodhead you have setup a lot of these - does DSD have any type of boilerplate that we could use for a filing and maybe even pay DSD to manage the initial setup?

Ok - what type of structure? Corp? LLC? I think it needs to be something where any excess funds are not passed thru to members as taxable. Hopefully the whole structure is nontaxable

I want to talk to her again about it. I will do it tomorrow (today) and let you know.
