I support mostly MAS90 clients and I need to install MAS200 on a stand-alone laptop. I cannot find a simple way to do this. I saw some information on running in MAS90 mode, but is there a way to install MAS200 as MAS90? If someone has the steps, I would appreciate it. Thanks

You can install 200 on the lap top and run workstation using 127.0.0.1 as the server address.

Why not just copy the 200 install from the server, then run it in MAS 90 mode?

It is a long story involving an outsourced accounting person and my plan is to copy data files only to her system after MAS200 is installed. It will be easier in this instance than copying from the server if it is possible. If it is my only option I will do that - just looking for a different way. Thanks again.

Why not put MAS90 on her system and just copy the data files only? As long as the versions are the same, MAS doesn't care if it's 200 or 90. (Or I'm not getting what you're trying to do, at all.)

+1 @BethBowers re: just copying/migrating the files over. Although don't believe there should be any issue with installing MAS 200 on your local laptop. I know I've done it in the past. It wouldn't be much different than installing on a server, right? Wasn't aware of @RobertWood's suggestion to use 127.0.0.1 but you should be able to also just use your computer name assuming you're running DHCP.

There's no place like 127.0.0.1. There's no place like 127.0.0.1. There's no place like 127.0.0.1. and click your heels three times. You can also run the MAS200 WKSetup, copy the MAS90 shortcut from a MAS 90 install and repoint it to where ever their MAS data is on the lap top.
