I saw a linked in post from Oasis regarding correcting a misdated GL journal by using the Reversing feature and the Copy From feature in General Journal Entry to create a pair of correcting entries from the original bum entry. Unfortunately, when my clients have that issue, the journal to Copy From ends up being a DTR from a module other than GL. It seems that only journals actually created in GL get added to the history files seen by Copy From. Have I missed something here?
On really long misdated journals, we have been using the Reversing feature but used VI to get the orignal journal. It would be nice to have Copy From pickup on all Journals, regardless of module source.
