Sage 100

I remember seeing a presentation a few years back regarding Sage offering payment cards (debit cards) for payroll employees through Sage 100. Is this a valid memory and if so, is the feature/service still available?

If you don't have any luck there, we've been using https://simplypaid.com/index for a couple years and have had good results. The price is right... $0. Everything is loaded with the Direct Deposit upload to the bank, no hassles or special processes.

I would think @ShawnSlavin might have a vendor or two to recommend with the number of Sage HRMS/Payroll installs. Is there typically any reseller margin in these programs or is the reward just the good feeling felt by helping the client solve a problem?

Got this from one of our payroll guru's: Paycards can come from anywhere, your bank is usually where we tell people to start. We really don't have people ask us much so don't normally have to recommend. I second the endorsement of Wentzel Stewart by @BrianKelly. Great guy.

I also confirmed with Brandi that recharging the bank cards with a local bank is done through ACH. Therefore, in payroll, you treat the employees with Pay Cards just like employees on direct deposit. Each card has an equivalent routing and account number.
