@LourdesSobrino - I think originally @BobPfahnl had a great thought not to upgrade a customer to a version which is already one level behind. So, unless I see a lot of negative feedback I tend to go directly to the latest release (after perhaps a month of the release being in the wild).
If Sage allowed for in-place upgrades this decision would be easier because we'd be able to do a 2016 then just upgrade over it with 2017 when we were comfortable (without having to uninstall/ re-run workstation setups on every users desktop).
It would be nice if Sage were to introduce in-place upgrades. Sadly, I suspect you will only see more about Sage Pegg (AI) and Sage People and very little about Sage 100 or any product that material number of Sage customers actually pay money to use...
