  • 1.  I need to scan serialized item and the field is 15

    I need to scan serialized item and the field is 15 characters...the customer has products which serial number is 19 characters long. Has anyone found a workaround ???

    Thanks...I will have to confirm that it works with ScanForce and/or Scanco's Warehouse Automation Systems....

    Another alternate is to scan into a UDF and create a user-defined script to auto-copy the first or last 15 characters into the serial number field (if that's unique enough).

    Steve - yes! It's the last script too from our class. However it wouldn't apply for Lourdes because there is a handheld involved and the Scanforce / Scanco app is controlling the small UI.
